To serve you better, please note the following:
1. The hospital is a place of rest and recuperation.
a. Please limit your visitors and observe silence. Be considerate of other patients. Overnight companion is limited to 1 person per room. Children below 13 years old are not allowed to stay overnight.
b. Visiting hours is strictly from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Children below 7 years old are not allowed to visit in-patient areas.
c. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the hospital.
2. For mutual protection and security, please be advised that:
a. Firearms are strictly prohibited inside the Hospital premises.
b. Avoid bringing valuables and large amounts of cash if unnecessary. Do not leave your room unattended and lock the doors in the evening. Mary Chiles Hospital will not assume responsibility for any stolen valuables/items.
c. Always keep your door locked whenever you leave the room.
d. All employees and staff of the hospital are provided individual IDs. Please notify the Nurse’s station if a suspicious person enters your room.
3. To ensure quality in patient’s medications, whenever possible, all medicines shall be procured from the Hospital pharmacy.
4. Meal hours:
Breakfast: 6:45am – 7:15am
Lunch: 11:30am – 12:30pm
Dinner: 6:00pm – 7:00 pm
5. A catholic Chapel is located on the 3rd floor. Holy Mass is regularly celebrated every Sunday at 10:00am. Requests for other services like confession and anointing of the sick may be arranged through the Nurses’ station.
